World and Olympic Champions Descend on Jersey for Triathlon’s Richest Day of the Year
Supertri Pro Series Final returns to Jersey on September 6 with an $800,000 prize purse and an all-star field headlined by Olympic champions Alex Yee and Cassandre Beaugrand
Supertri can today confirm that the Supertri Pro Series Final will take place on September 6 in Jersey, Channel Islands. The season-ending race carries the largest single-day prize fund in triathlon this year: $800,000, split across the men’s and women’s races.
The confirmed start list reads like a who’s who of short-course triathlon. Olympic gold medallists Alex Yee (GBR) and Cassandre Beaugrand (FRA) headline a field that also includes Matt Hauser (AUS), Georgia Taylor-Brown (GBR), Tim Hellwig (GER), Csongor Lehmann (HUN), Jeanne Lehair (LUX) and Jolien Vermeylen (BEL), with more big names to be announced. Together they represent some of the fastest and most decorated athletes in the sport, and all will be racing for their share of 2026’s biggest single-day triathlon prize purse.
The Pro Series Final is the culmination of a revamped 2026 format in which athletes compete as individuals across three qualifying events. The top three finishers per gender at each qualifier earn a place on the start line in Jersey, racing alongside Supertri’s all-star line-up.
“This is a huge year for Supertri as we truly unify professional and amateur racing,” said Michael D’hulst, CEO and Co-Founder of Supertri. “Our new Pro Series is the very pinnacle of short-course racing, and we cannot think of a better stage for the Final than Supertri’s spiritual home ofJersey. The stakes have never been higher, and the field reflects that.”
The Pro Series Final will be raced over the iconic Supertri Format, with three back-to-back rounds of swim, bike and run.
It takes place within a wider weekend of endurance sport on the island. Swim Run Jersey opens proceedings on Saturday morning. On Sunday, the JSAC Hearty Half Marathon, in support of Jersey Heart Support Group, precedes the afternoon’s triathlon, creating back-to-back competition for fans and fitness enthusiasts.
Supertri will partner again with Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) to support RBC Race for the Kids, the mass participation charity fun run that drew close to 1,000 entrants in 2025. UBS Global Wealth Management also continues as official partner, with further announcements to follow in the coming weeks.
David Kennedy, CEO of Jersey Sport, said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Supertri back to Jersey in 2026. Our island has quickly become a popular destination within the Supertri series, and much of that success comes down to the strong connection the athletes build with our community whenever they visit.
“The event is always an opportunity to show off Jersey at its best to the world of sport, and to inspire people locally by bringing world-class competition right to our doorstep. We look forward to building on the success of previous years and once again creating lasting experiences for both participants and spectators across the island.”
