Matchwornshirt announce ‘Own The Ride’ Campaign
Giving cycling fans the chance to bid on pro team bikes. 87 pro bikes from the biggest cycling teams on the planet including Visma|Lease-a-Bike, INEOS Grenadiers Cycling Team, Soudal Quick-Step and more will be up for auction, with brands like Cervélo, Cannondale and Pinarello all up for grabs

MatchWornShirt, the world’s largest match-worn memorabilia auction platform, has teamed up with some of the world’s biggest professional cycling teams for their ‘Own The Ride’ campaign, which gives fans and collectors a chance to own a piece of cycling history via an exclusive auction series. Starting on December 6th and running to December 22nd, the campaign will auction off 87 professional race-level bikes from the biggest teams in the sport.
Fans will be will be able to bid on wide range of incredible bikes from Visma|Lease-a-Bike, INEOS Grenadiers Cycling Team, Soudal Quick-Step, EF Education-Easypost, Team dsm–firmenich PostNL and Lotto–Dstny, used by some of the world’s top riders; including in the Tour de France by Jonas Vingegaard, Wout van Aert, Fabio Jakobson, Egan Bernal and Ben Healy and the bikeformer Tour de France winner Geraint Thomas used in last year’s Giro d’Italia.
Alongside these, bikes used by 2024 Tour de France White Jersey winner Remco Evenepoel as well as the exact bike Olympic gold medalist Tom Pidcock won the 2024 Amstel Gold Race on. Mountain bikes used by World Champion Pauline Ferrand Prevot and the bike used by Charlotte Kool to win multiple stages at this year’s Tour de France Femmes, are also up for grabs in this extraordinary collection.
The 87 items available include top of the line road, time trial and mountain bikes from the likes of Cervélo, Cannondale, Pinarello, Specialized, SCOTT and Orbea.
The auctions will take place in two phases over two weeks, with week one auctions running from December 6th to 14th, and week two from December 15th to 22nd. In week one, the 54 bikes featured have all been used in one or more of the Grand Tours, across the Tour de France, Giro d’Italia and Vuelta a España; while the 33 bikes in week two have all been used by the teams in other professional events, races and training programs.
