State Bicycle Co. releases new Carbon Monster Fork v2

State Bicycle Co. has released their Carbon Monster Fork v2, which adds a flip chip to the original version for added versatility and performance from your gravel or bikepacking rig.

Like the original version, the State Bicycle Co. Monster Fork v2 is crafted from the highest-grade carbon fibre, engineered to take on the toughest terrains while keeping your ride light and agile. But the new version adds a flip chip so riders can set the rake at 49mm or 55.5mm, effectively dialling the bike’s geometry for different terrains and uses. Designed with adventure in mind, this new fork features multiple mounting points and accommodates up to 2.4″ tires at 27.5″ (650b), giving you the versatility to tackle any gravel or off-road challenge.

• 49mm Offset: Ideal for riders who prioritize stability and control on technical trails or rough gravel. This setting is perfect for tight, twisty singletrack or when you need maximum precision on technical descents.
• 55.5mm Offset: This longer rake setting is designed for those who prefer a smoother, more stable ride, particularly on fast gravel roads or during long-distance bikepacking trips. The increased offset lengthens the wheelbase, providing enhanced straight-line stability for smoother roads.
