British Cycling announces 2024 Elite Development Teams

British Cycling has announced the road teams granted Elite Development status for 2024, supporting those elite road teams that go above and beyond to support talented riders on their journey to success on the world stage.
First launched in 2021, Elite Development Team status helps bridge the gap from club teams to UCI Continental level. As an Elite Development Team, each team is guaranteed eight rider entries into all National Road Series and National Circuit Series races, offered promotion of their social media channels and team websites on the British Cycling website, and receive support in the form of education and training workshops.
To achieve Elite Development Team status, teams are required to demonstrate a high level of support for their riders, providing them with a platform to develop, a comprehensive race programme and race day support. You can find out more about the criteria for selection here.
Applications for this season opened in November 2023, and British cycling is now able to share the names of the teams which have been successful in securing the status for 2024. You can read full bios of the men’s teams here, and women’s teams here.
