Outlaw and Total Tri Training team up

Outlaw Triathlon and Total Triathlon Training (TTT) have formed a new partnership to boost both organisations at the start of the 2024 season.

The Outlaw Triathlon Series offers high-quality, award-wining middle and long distance events in the UK and will partner TTT, one of the Europe’s leading and biggest coaching companies. Outlaw will provide preferential rates, club championship prizes, and promote their services to its database of athletes.

There have been almost 36,000 finishers run down the orange carpet event since the brand was first launched in Nottingham in 2010. This year, the event weekends have been expanded to include shorter Sprint events with a view to appealing to new athletes across all demographics, particularly the wave of younger athletes that has come into the sport. They will also stage the 2024 National Aquathlon Championships in July.

TTT will host its club championships at an Outlaw event annually, ensuring that their distinctive pink and sky-blue kit makes a big impact on race days. The company successfully delivers a range of services to athletes from beginner to professional across all distances. Its team of over 30 coaches includes twice previous Outlaw winner, Kit Walker, as well as head coaches, professional athletes, and industry experts.

Outlaw Triathlon Event Director, Iain Hamilton said: “Total Tri Training has been successful in retaining a very large athlete base during a challenging period for the sport and we’re looking forward to working with them.”

“Their focus on enjoyment and community fits perfectly with our own ethos of supporting all levels of athletes and is essential in terms of retaining people in the sport.”

The first event of the 2024 season, Outlaw Half Nottingham is over 90% sold out. It is set to take place 18-19 May and is followed by Outlaw Half Holkham (6-7 July) and Outlaw Nottingham (27-28 July).
