Pre-Sales begin for No. 22 Bicycle Company’s Reactor Aero

Following the overwhelming reception of the prototype’s debut at the MADE Bike Show in Portland, No. 22 is thrilled to announce the opening of presales of this one-of-a-kind bike.

No. 22 will start taking deposits on Thursday, Sept 12th at 6 AM PST for riders who’d like to secure their piece of cycling innovation by pre-ordering the final-production version now, to ship as soon as development is completed.

Deposits will have the following structure:

• Interested parties can learn more and place a deposit here
• A $1,000 deposit is required and will be credited toward your bike’s final purchase price (frameset price estimated between $10,000 and $15,000).
• First come, first served. Deliveries for Reactor Aero will follow the order in which deposits were received
• Deposits are non-refundable, but can be fully transferred as a credit toward the purchase of any existing No. 22 model should the customer decide the waiting period is too long

Steps to be completed before final production include:

• Wind tunnel testing will validate the current CFD modeling and refine the bike’s aerodynamic properties.
• Refinement of the manufacturing process for production. The prototype was displayed as a monolithic single 3D-printed titanium piece. The final production models will be assembled from a series of smaller, more accurate 3D-printed sub-assemblies to give greater control over quality and alignment.
• Structural and ride quality testing to ensure the bike delivers titanium’s hallmark feel and durability.
