Standert introduces two colours to their Kettensäge gravel race bike
Standert, the boutique bicycle brand hailing from Berlin, specialising in steel and aluminium bikes, introduces two new colourways to their Kettensäge gravel race bike, a beautiful Cherry Kiss red colourway and a brilliant beige Team colourway.
In classic Standert style, framesets meticulously handcrafted in Europe are matched with stunning paint jobs and then finished with best in class componentry.
Handmade for racing
Handmade in Italy, the Kettensäge takes the racing DNA of Standert’s flagship Kreissäge RS performance road bike and translates it into gravel racing. Lightweight and designed for racing, the bike uses state of the art Dedacciai Aegis aluminium tubing throughout. With the word Kettensäge being German for ‘chainsaw’, this bike is designed to – quite literally – cut through the competition.
Put to the test
Real world tested in the toughest conditions, the new Kettensäge colourways were put through their paces at the Standert-supported Road to Desolation gravel race in South Africa’s Karoo desert. The bikes made light work of 179km of unforgiving terrain and nearly 3,000m of elevation gain
