SunGod launch Tom Pidcock Signature Series Velans

Leading British performance eyewear brand, SunGod, has announced the launch of the Tom Pidcock Signature Series Velans.

Built to represent Tom’s distinctive racing style, this new SunGod design has already been raced to victory on the technical MTB XC World Cup track in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic.  

A new Crystal Red frame has been designed exclusively for the Yorkshire-born rider, with a lens engraving featuring a hand of cards – a nod to his calculated approach to maximising his chances in every race. This is echoed with the four suits on the inner arm, referencing his multidisciplinary prowess.

Built around the market-leading Velans spherical lens, which follows the curve of the eye to increase optical precision, and the TR90 frame material, which features memory polymer properties and porous hydrophilic arms ensure that grip is maintained even at full tilt – be it on road, cobbles or singletrack. Housing SunGod’s proprietary 8KO lens technology, the SunGod Tom Pidcock Signature Series Velans offer the clarity essential for Tom’s rapid and technical descents.

Widely considered one of Britain’s finest young riders, there isn’t much he hasn’t already achieved in his relatively short career to date. Tour de France Queen Stage winner; National and World Cyclo-cross Champion; winner of Strade Bianche and Olympic Gold Medallist to name just a few.
