A new Swan to Flange Converter offers a simple, secure bridge between modern swan-neck tow-balls and traditional flange-mounted accessories, enabling compatibility with older bike racks and equipment without the need for replacement hardware.Â
The Swan to Flange Converter clamps onto standard swan-neck tow-balls and provides two large bolt holes on a flange that matches the older tow-ball mounting format. Designed for reliability and ease of use, the converter is rated to support up to 100 kg, making it suitable for a wide range of racks and ancillary gear. It is important to note that the converter is not intended for use with towing stabilisers.
The complete kit includes a mounting bracket, outer casting, and a clamshell, delivering a complete, ready-to-install solution. The outer casting is designed for flexible orientation; although the clamp bolt is shown at the rear in product illustrations, it can be oriented in either direction to suit installation preferences.
