Heybike launches V1 Pro electric dirt bike with 8,000W peak power

Heybike has launched the V1 Pro, a 72V electric dirt bike designed for off-road riding and built around an 8,000W peak-power drive system.
The new model uses a 72V 27Ah battery with 1,944Wh of capacity. Heybike says it can deliver up to 60 miles of range, reach speeds of up to 50mph and climb gradients of up to 45 degrees. Charging is stated at approximately 5.5 to six hours with the supplied 84V 5A charger.
Big-foot tyres and upgraded suspension
The V1 Pro runs a staggered wheel set-up, with a 17-inch front tyre and 14-inch rear tyre. The company says the larger rear contact patch is intended to improve traction on loose or uneven ground.
Ground clearance is 285mm, while the suspension package comprises a 150mm-travel front fork and a rear hydraulic shock. The bike produces a claimed 250Nm of wheel torque.
Compared with the original V1, Heybike says the V1 Pro offers nearly twice the peak power, 43.8% more battery capacity, an 11% higher top speed, 20% more range and a 50% increase in maximum climbing angle. It also claims 31.5% more wheel torque and 14.5% greater ground clearance.
App controls and rider modes
Riders can use the Heybike app to adjust speed limits and throttle response. ECO, LINEAR and SPORT modes are available, alongside configurable regenerative braking.
An optional Bluetooth speaker and horn accessory supports music playback and a selection of simulated motorcycle engine sounds.
Braking and safety features
The V1 Pro is equipped with a 220mm front hydraulic disc brake and 190mm rear hydraulic disc brake. Regenerative braking provides an additional layer of deceleration control.
A magnetic emergency kill switch is designed to cut power if the rider falls or moves away from the bike. The throttle-reset system prevents power delivery until the throttle has returned to its reset position.
Heybike says the battery system is UL 2849 certified, while the bike carries an IPX6 water-resistance rating.
Wheelie Boost Assist
The V1 Pro also introduces Wheelie Boost Assist. Activated through a single mode control, the system lifts the front wheel to a fixed angle to help riders perform a controlled wheelie.
The electric dirt bike is available through Heybike’s official website. A limited-quantity launch gift box is also being offered while stocks last.
