The Pearson Gimme Shelter Waterproof Gilet Navy is a highly breathable, lightweight and fully waterproof gilet designed for all kinds of riding. Made from sustainable 100% recycled nylon, it stows easily into a bag or pocket.

The Gimme Shelter Waterproof Gilet is packable waterproof gilet that takes its name from the Rolling Stones’ classic, a song penned in protest at the Vietnam War. Engineered from the same fabric as our Bryter Layter waterproof jacket, the gilet has been designed with a different crisis in mind – the ongoing threat to our environment.

Pearson is committed to sustainable production and the fabric is constructed to be waterproof without the need for a durable water-repellent treatment (which can degrade over time and introduce harmful chemicals to the water system). With no compromise on performance, the gilet offers exceptional breathability and is also windproof to protect your core.

The gilet’s ingenious design means it can be folded away into its chest pocket, which also has capacity to store a large phone. Once packed, the gilet fits easily into the rear pocket of a jersey. Additional design elements include a high-cut collar to block drafts, while elasticated armholes eliminate flapping. A drawstring waist provides a snug fit in the body, while reflective, hi-vis stripes ensure visibility. The gilet is finished with a silicone Pearson badge.
