The next level: Quintana Roo introduces Studio Next Bikes
Exclusive lightweight frames and finish debut on Service Course Aero Road Platform

Quintana Roo has debuted its new Studio NEXT line of bikes. Studio NEXT represents Quintana Roo’s top-tier offerings, built with lighter, more sophisticated carbon fibre layups and painted in exclusive colour options for athletes seeking every performance advantage. The Studio NEXT category begins with the Service Course, Quintana Roo’s flagship aero road bike. Other models in the Quintana Roo line-up will follow with Studio NEXT iterations in the coming months.
With years of study and test experience in the tunnel and on the road, Quintana Roo is longtime leader in innovative frame designs, producing some of the fastest bikes for the world’s top multisport racers, earning numerous Ironman titles. With the freedom that comes with painting and assembling bikes in its factory in Chattanooga, Tenn., Quintana Roo has also become synonymous with choice. From selection of wheels, crank length, stem length, bar width, saddle and tires, to a kaleidoscope of colour choices, Quintana Roo permits every customer to create their own personalized bike, directly online.
Studio NEXT takes customization a step beyond, aiming to push performance, weight savings and jaw-dropping aesthetic further into the “dream bike” realm. Quintana Roo gave its engineers free rein to re-imagine bikes with the highest-grade carbon fiber and new, more sophisticated carbon layups. The result is the lightest bikes the company has ever produced in its 38-year history with the highest stiffness-to-weight ratio and most refined ride quality—all while maintaining its renowned aero advantage. The Studio NEXT Service Course frame uses the same wind tunnel-tested shapes as the standard Service Course, but is 150 grams lighter. As light as 924 grams (size M), it is now among the lightest dedicated aero road frames in the world.
Aesthetically, Studio NEXT frames are given a new degree of attention from the artists in Quintana Roo’s paint booth, using its most refined painting process on two colourways exclusive to Studio NEXT consumers: Blue Aegir and Meteoric Dust, each featuring an argent accent and a colour-matched handlebar. With crystallizing finishes that create a sparkling effect, svelte whites with racing lines that impart depth and speed, and pairings that extend those paint colours into matching cockpits and spacers, the result is a decidedly premium aesthetic that will stun competitors on the start line or at the cafê. An array of nine standard colour options—each with paint-matched handlebars—will be available to Studio NEXT customers as well.
Studio NEXT bikes will be equipped with proven premium components, including Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 and Ultegra Di2 and SRAM RED and Force drivetrains, powermeters from 4iii and Quarq, integrated and colour-matched cockpits (the ENVE SES AR InRoute and Vision Metron 5D ACR EVO), and wheel options from Zipp, ENVE, and DT Swiss.
Studio NEXT builds will start at $8,999 with Shimano Ultegra Di2, a Vision Metron 5D ACR EVO cockpit, a 4iii single-sided powermeter and a HED V45 wheelset. Studio NEXT builds with Shimano Dura-Ace and SRAM RED eTap, each featuring dual-sided power meters from 4iii and Quarq, respectively, start at $10,999. Every Studio NEXT bike can be ordered directly online at quintanarootri.com or via live chat or phone with any of Quintana Roo’s experts for a truly bespoke concierge experience.
